Fixed Income Business Analyst
The Business Analyst/Project Manager will combine his/her industry experience in Fixed Income (FI) technology with the implementation of the strategic Global FI Credit Risk Management technology roadmap. The candidate will function as a Fixed Income business facing Business Analyst working on an array of Credit Risk related initiatives.
Along with a strong Fixed Income background, the candidate should offer exposure to Credit Risk (CVA, CSA, FRTB) as he/she will manage relationships with the Global Business and IT stakeholders.
Overall Accountabilities
- Responsible for various phases of project management with associated business analyst tasks including:
- Functional requirements gathering and act as a business analyst in conjunction with Asset Class representatives and associated IT/Operations teams
- Document creation, completion, and distribution
- Post, edit, maintain all associated project documentation based on standard practices
- Assist with coordination and execution of implementations of the system across global sites.
- Work closely with the associated Development Manager to schedule deliveries, set timelines and coordinate deliverables.
- Assist with training and configuration of new users on the system.
- Manage, and in various cases, execute testing phases for deliverables including associated support and coordination across various stakeholder groups.
- Work to ensure the full range of priorities are managed, negotiated and agreed to create and support and global workbook for the program.
- Develop an expert-level understanding of major global and local systems
Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
- 5 to 10 Years of experience
- Fixed Income experience – Credit / EM / Rates
- Experience with a major OTC Derivative vendor such as Calypso, Summit or Murex
Essential Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience as a BA in the financial industry with a strong and proven background in business analysis and/or project management
- Strong relationship management skills with proven history in dealing with stakeholders and globally distributed project teams
- Proven ability to manage and work within multiple projects, priorities and demands in an efficient and dynamic manner that is proactive
- Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environment

Ideal Experience
- Fixed Income products with focus on Rates Bonds and Derivatives – from Credit Risk Management perspective especially with an analytical or quantitative capability.
- Experience working with the desk – i.e., ability to troubleshoot quickly
- Experience delivering projects globally across a number of asset classes
- Ideal candidate will have strong Fixed Income including Emerging Markets, Credit Risk and strong technical credentials
