Job Title: ASP.Net C# Web Developer

Major Financial Service’s provider seeks a seasoned ASP.Net with C# programmer to join the Strategic Application Group programming team in Iselin, NJ.  This team is responsible for creating and supporting multiple web application, .Net components, applications, and any required development that facilitates the use of technology to support the business lines.

The individual will work within a small core team to develop, and maintain, various web based applications.  The individual will be responsible for development in ASP.NET using C#.  This is a coding role, and requires a self-motivated and creative person.  The individual will be joining a small team of GUI and backend developers responsible for the creation of the newest front end technology.

The candidate should be a self-motivated individual, who is capable of working in a fast paced challenging environment.  This individual must also demonstrate the ability to relay and express ideas in a technical forum with lead developers and various team members verbally, using tools such as MS Visio.

This position will report to the Lead developer.  The candidate must have had at least 3 years of HANDS ON ASP.Net with C# experience.  A detailed requirement document is denoted below.

Minimum experience includes:

• 5 years or more coding C# .Net,
• 4 years or more coding ASP.Net , MVC using C#
• 5 years or more actual programming experience.
• Experience with Microsoft development tools (Visual Studio).
• 2 years or more experience in any SQL database, preferably SQL Server
• Experience in Object Oriented Design.
• Good Oral and written technical communication skills, including the ability to document code, and produce technical documentation when required.
• Ability to interact with technical and non-technical teams when required.
• Ability to work on multiple projects.
• Acute attention to details, and the ability to provide feedback on technical specifications.
• Must be able to work independently and with other developers on projects when required.
• The ability to perform detailed developer unit testing.
• Strong troubleshooting, decision making and problem solving skills
• Experience with a real-time applications.

The following skill sets are deemed as pluses in the job category:

• Any third party component experience like Dev Express, Infragistics etc
• Experience in designing mission critical applications.
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field is considered a plus, but certainly NOT required.

Education: College Degree is not required, but preferred
