Vice President –Technology, Product Manager

Responsibilities:
Technology team is adding a Vice President Product Manager with experience in HR and/or Finance [Business Application] Systems. This role will act as a Business partner to the HR and Finance functions and as a technical lead in the systems they use.
A Vice President Product Manager within Technology can expect to be;
> A leader within the technology Business Applications team helping establish best-in-class program management and risk management (timelines, stakeholder communications, status updates etc.)
> Responsible for ongoing optimizations, rationalization, and maintenance of both operational and reporting tools within the HR and Finance functions
> Leading support for day-to-day user experience, platform stability, and platform performance
> Enhancing the scalability of key connected planning technologies across the firm
> Documenting business process changes & operating run-books
> Providing testing plans, training, and communication related to scheduled and unscheduled platform releases
> Closely partnering on cross-functional projects within technology as well as the broader corporate function
> Managing a small team of in house, consulting and managed service resources; with the objective to continuously expand capabilities & skills
Qualifications:
Our client seeks to hire individuals who possess both technical and functional skills, are highly-motivated and collaborative self-starters, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. Qualified candidates will possess the following:
> Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business Systems, Information Technology or related field. Business Administration, Finance, Accounting degrees are also relevant
> 5+ years of relevant work experience
> Implementation, Management or Consulting experience related to HR or Finance Systems is beneficial (e.g., Workday, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, SAP BPC, Oracle HFM, IBM Cognos)
> Experience with Human Resource and / or Finance functions and their processes
> Experience in solving complex technology, process or data related problems, with the ability to present and articulate solutions to senior stakeholders
> Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders
> Strong project management skills with ability to scope projects, maintain timelines and execute delivery
