Futures Technical Lead – Full Stack Engineer
Futures Technology is a global team providing technology services to the Futures business. The team is managing multiple Listed Derivatives e-Trading platforms, delivering key client and regulatory / exchange driven projects – helping help our global business and its customers to succeed

The Futures technology team manage and maintain a combination of external vendor platforms and internally developed systems. The eTrading platforms cover all areas of eTrading, from client order entry through the order messages on global exchanges, Pre & Post Trade Risk and Allocation services.
The team spans the 3 main trading hubs (Hong Kong, New York, London), with team members in five locations (Guangzhou, Hong Kong, New York, London and Krakow).

Responsibilities;
Project manage and hands-on technical delivery of a multi-year upgrade and migration of the main Futures & Options Order Management System and Exchange connectivity platform to a managed service.
You will handle all phases of the project as part of a wider project team – navigate internal processes, business stakeholder management (requirements gathering/analysis through to implementation), vendor management and client migrations.
Drive the delivery of our strategic platform architecture, partner with the business and help streamline the front to back flows with a view of reducing technical debt.
Essential;
- Must have strong Futures eTrading systems and exchange connectivity experience
- FIX Protocol – client certification, normalization – hands-on experience
- Java Development / SQL / DB – hands-on experience
Ideal;
- Vendor system knowledge – Itiviti ULLINK, FIS Valdi
- eTrading technology regulation working experience
Python Scripting experience
You are an excellent communicator, and are comfortable communicating directly with the Sales/Trading Desk and internal Technology teams and are able to range up and down the detail depending on your audience.
