Cloud Systems Administrator

What we’re looking for
Our Technology team is made up of problem solvers hungry to perfect new products and systems. As Cloud Systems Administrator, you play a key role. The Cloud Systems Administrator will oversee, expand, and continuously improve public and private cloud environments. This role will frequently interface with key stakeholders, internal technology teams, and third-party vendors. The Cloud Systems Administrator will be expected to support the business in it’s day to day activities while also driving key projects and deliverables that have large impacts throughout the bank.
The Technology team is the backbone of our fintech business and is responsible for a range of technology across all areas of the bank. The team continually automates and improves the infrastructure to provide the best possible experience to all users. The technology team cares about results, not activity, and we have fun doing it!
Responsibilities:
- Automate repetitive tasks where possible, including, but not limited to existing procedures, system configuration, and application deployment.
- Continuous analysis and improvement of both performance and scalability of public and private cloud environments.
- Must be able to accommodate weekend, shift, or on-call schedules when necessary.
- Maintains knowledge of industry best practices and new trends.
- Integrating public and private cloud applications with SSO
- Oversee or assist with special projects as assigned (such as transitioning legacy environments, certificate authority deployments, or VDI deployments)
Qualifications:
- Ability to collaborate with resources across multiple disciplines including operations, engineering, networking, development, and security.
- Strong Windows Server skills including installation, configuration, security, and domain management with an emphasis on security.
- Familiarity with Unix based systems (Such as RHEL)
- Must be able to create work instructions, best practice documentation, and scripts which can be followed by others.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work well in a team environment.
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills in a fast paced and changing environment.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with the following technologies is a plus:
- vSphere PowerCLI, Powershell, Python
- AWS, Azure, or GCP experience
- Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar infrastructure as code tools
- Chef, Puppet, DSC or similar configuration management tools
- BitGlass, Symantec CloudSOC, Netskope or similar CASB solution
- Git
- SSO / SAML authentication
- RHEL, CentOS, or similar
- Kubernetes
- Docker
