Business Analyst/Project Manager Regulatory Reform
Markets Regulatory Change BA/PM- Transformation
As a follow up to 15a-6, Associated Persons and our recent application for SBSD, this individual will address numerous Regulatory mandates including;
“Senior Manager Regime and Individual Accountability Regime”
- 7+ years of business analysis and project management experience supporting capital markets with knowledge in OTC Derivatives and related regulations such as Dodd Frank Title VII.
- Working knowledge of products in Fixed Income, FX or Equity Derivatives and trade life cycle to support business transformation initiatives.
- Prior experience in business analysis and technology initiatives in a financial product area(s) and/or a functional area within the Securities businesses.
- Ability to self-motivate and lead business transformation initiatives
- Proficient in Agile application development methodology
The role will perform most or all of these responsibilities:
- Contribute to all stages of the project lifecycle – Change initiation, Design and Delivery, through to benefits realization
- Partner with Business, Compliance, Legal and Technology to analyze, interpret, and document requirements for business problems and recommend comprehensive solutions
- Develop solutions that are strategic, cost effective and meet business requirements
- Define the project approach, building stakeholder buy-in around the project plan, commitments and changes
- Manage delivery proactively balancing scope, schedule, communications, budget and risks
- Work within project controls and procedures to establish quality assurance processes
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders and communicate effectively with senior management at the COO level
- Report progress, issues, dependencies and risks to project leadership and committees as appropriate and make recommendations to influence decision making in order to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realization
- Provide guidance to maintain focus on how the project aligns to wider program objective
- Apply knowledge of industry and technology changes to meet business tactical and strategic goals
